Suka Kebaya

Sejak hari itulah Ummi suka berpakaian kebaya. Apalagi sekarang yang modern sudah banyak diperagakan.

Note : Ummi nasihat kalau nak pakai kebaya pakailah, kita harus jaga aurat kita sebagai wanita.

'' Seseorang....."

"Dalam kehidupan seharian, kadangkala terjadi perkara-perkara yang menyusahkan, mengganggu jiwa dan emosi dan apa yang dibuat semuanya tidak kena. Alangkah indahnya sekiranya ada seseorang yang boleh membuatkan kita lupa akan perkara-perkara tersebut walaupun dengan hanya melihat wajahnya. Dan sesungguhnya aku telah berjumpa dengan seseorang itu...." 3:3:2009

Why patience a virtue?

Patience is a virtue because it makes us better people. The definition of the word is to tolerate delay. This implies self control and forebearance as opposed to wanting what we want when we want it. How many times have we jumped the gun and found out it it would have been better to tolerate delay or had self control? What did we miss out on? Did we hurt someone because of lack of patience? Did our lives just change completely just because we couldn't control ourselves? Patience is not only a virtue but a necessity for a happy existence.

p/s:..tiba2 teringat semula.."I've been holding my patience waiting for my new car...I didn't get enough sleep and can't concentrate to other things....hahaha...

He’s Just Not That Into You’

Tadi Ummi pergi tengok ‘He’s just not that into you’. Filem yang menampilkan banyak pelakon-pelakon popular termasuk Jeniffer Aniston, Ben Affleck dan Drew Barrymore.
This movie is good! Mungkin disebabkan ada Jeniffer Aniston. ( Ummi is into Jeniffer Aniston. Totally different story, Kak Nur pernah tanya Ummi dan Andros fasal Angelina Jolie. We kinda give her the same respond of hm.. well.. She’s obviously pretty but not into her acting that much. Ummi really should stop saying bad thing about Angelina Jolie )
This movie should fall under romance comedy, Ummi suppose. But it’s obviously not that typical kind of story. The main issue is as stated as the title - whether a guy is into a girl or not; and about reading different kind of signs that guys give to girls
Hm.. Ummi suppose that many people may relate to one of the character. Just a tidbit (especially for you Hubby who ; even though you are in Msia, but you still cannot? watch it! Ha~ ha (gelak keji ko seperti dalam TAR Durham)).
As for Ummi, if you Girls ever watch the movie, Hubby Ummi masa muda is more towards Alex (Justin Long, pix beside) for the first third quarter of the movie (Note: until right after the party scene). The last quarter part … Ummi haven’t reach that part yet. Ahaks.
This movie is really good for people who are looking for love, for people who are reading all the signs from the prospective candidate and wonder if it is a real sign, for those who love sarcasm, for those who are environmental friendly, and for those who love Jeniffer Aniston.
Anwyay..
Oh, Ummi pergi sorang jer tadi, naik train ke Newcastle, tengok kul 7.40 malam, pastu balik nak bas sebab keretapi dah tamat perkhidmatan (komannya northeast region nih, kul 10 dah takde train). Ummi never done this before here - keluar sorang-sorang gi Newcastle malam-malam. Selalunya dulu, Hubby la yang confirm ikut kalo tengok citer kat Newcastle.
It always remind me of my life back in Uxbridge, pinggir London. Dulu, selalu jer keluar London jalan sorang-sorang, which is fun actually. Ummi never feel bad of doing thing on my own. Even back in USM. Ummi could just go to Bakti Permai, beli nasi goreng ayam dan lepak depan tv, bukanlah sebab nak tengok sangat pun, tapi sebab dah makan sorang kan. Ataupun bangun tengahhari dan pergi ke McDonald Sg 2. Sebab taklah kaya pun, so Ummi akan beli chicken burger atau double cheese burger yang berharga RM2.50 waktu tuh. Just that. Takde air, takde fries (kalo tak.. bankrup la). Atau kekadang amik aiskrim. Walaupun seketul burger, Ummi akan eat-in. Lantaklah, Ummi bayar, ye tak?
Don’t feel sorry for it. If you do, watch He’s Just Not That Into You and remember … Hubby you are really more like Alex!,; you would not feel sorry for me anymore… Waiting you back from Kuantan..Ha~ ha

Sedih

Agaknya superpower Ummi diaktifkan?

Malam nie Ummi nak sendirian tengok wayang ‘He’s just not that into you’

How to Respect Other People’s Beliefs

Not everyone we met shares our views, opinions, and ideas. But it doesn’t have to be the reason for us to stop cultivating ourselves and reaching out to others. The following are some suggestions on how to respect other people’s beliefs and establish a harmonious relationship with them:

Step1
Always think before speaking. How often have we hurt others by the careless words we said? When talking to someone who obviously doesn’t share your point of view, be very careful in responding to him. Be polite in your conversation and maintain eye contact.

Step2
Empathize with the other person. One of the best ways to show respect to others and their beliefs is to practice empathy. Put yourself in the other shoes and for a while feel how it is to be the person you are talking to. Ask yourself the question, “How different would it be if I live in this person’s world?” By doing that, you will be more sensitive to his feelings and will develop more understanding why the other person thinks and acts as he does.

Step3
Refrain from criticizing other people’s beliefs different from yours. The fastest way to lose a friend is to criticize what he thinks is right or hold dear in his heart. This is also a sure way to gain enemies. When you tell someone that his religion is wrong or his idea about how to succeed is dumb, don’t expect the person to seek your company. Build bridges instead of walls by genuinely appreciating the good that you see in others and showing respect to his ideas no matter how different his beliefs are from yours.

Step4
Don’t push your beliefs. Sure, you can try to convince others what you think and believe in a particular area. But don’t expect them to be your follower. Show respect by letting them decide on their own. You will be respected back and more likely they will reconsider what you shared to them.

Step5
Understand that everyone you meet is unique. Individuals of the same culture don’t always share the same point of view and beliefs. How much more those who hail from other cultures with different background, values, experiences, norms, environment, tradition, religion, etc.? Mix them together and what you have is a web of complicated personalities who wanted to let their beliefs be known and heard! Show respect to what others think by respecting who they are and where they came from.

Step6
Listen to what other people have to say even if you don’t agree. The best way to show respect to other’s belief is to listen to what they share. You will be surprised what new things you’ll learn from them. Likewise, you will not only get better in your listening skills, you will also gain their trust and respect!
